Our New Player of the Month for November - Albie Thomson!

Nine year old Albie Thomson is our latest Player of the Month for his supurb supportive and eager to please attitude in every lesson.

Albie has been playing tennis since Septmeber 2016 and since then has progressed from being within a mini red class to hitting with a green ball. That's two progressions in just one year and according to Head Coach of Blewbury Tennis Club Josh Marks he has handled it with no problem:

"Albie has been on the course since I first joined in September, and there hasn't been a lesson from that point where he hasn't emphasised his passion for tennis and his willingness to learn and improve. His attitude towards every lesson makes him stand out from the crowd and his improvement from when I first started teaching him is beyond impressive!

When I started coaching Albie, he and the rest of the group were playing with a red ball - and the whole group have now all progressed through orange to green within only one year, but Albie has shown no struggle at all with the progression between the different balls.

Moments that impress me about Albie are where he helps me put the net and all the equipment away from the previous lesson so he can get on court as quickly as possible! His attitude makes him a pleasure to coach, always great to see such hard working mind sets in the game!"

Albie has told us his inspiration to start playing was his mum - he saw her playing for Blebwury Tennis Club and wanted to play himself. He also said that by this time next year he will keep improving until he can hopefully beat her! Well, CTA think that if you keep up your hard work you'll be able to give her a good game...

Massive congratulations from us all at CTA and keep up the good effort!

Coaches are always taking notice of good commitment and performance from all lessons so put in your best efforts and you could be our Player of the Month for December!
